THE WILD SURVIVAL ACADEMY

Return to Resilience
WSA FOREST SCHOOL
(Outdoorsy-The Nature School)
Where Resilience Begins
WSA Forest School is located in forest spaces under the Telangana Forest Department. Our experienced instructors from the Wild Survival Academy are veterans of the Armed Forces with a great love for the outdoors and outdoor education. We bring you summer camps for children exclusively focusing on Outdoor Survival Skills and nature-based learning. These camps build resilience, life skills, and respect for nature.

Built for Bigger Spaces.
One day, your child will walk into rooms that test them.
New expectations. Real decisions. Independent moments.
Will they carry quiet confidence within them?
At The Wild Survival Academy, growth isn’t taught —
it’s experienced.
They build # They cook # They trek # They speak # They lead # No screens # No noise.
Just nature, challenge, and discovery.
They return a little steadier. A little braver. A little more sure of themselves.

Children are supervised at all times, and activities are designed to be age-appropriate with proper safety protocols. 2. Do children need any prior outdoor or camping experience? No prior experience is required. The camp is designed for complete beginners as well as children who already enjoy the outdoors. Our instructors guide them step-by-step. 3. What will my child learn at the camp? Children learn practical life skills such as: Teamwork and leadership Basic survival and outdoor skills Navigation and direction finding Fire making and shelter building Problem solving and resilience Confidence and independence More importantly, they learn to adapt, think creatively, and work with others. 4. Will children stay overnight? Is it safe? Yes . Children stay in safe camping arrangements such as tents or supervised shelters under instructor supervision. Our team remains present throughout the night, ensuring safety and comfort. We have women instructors and maids at the camp to assist the girl child for any needs. 5. What kind of food will be provided? Healthy, hygienic, and kid-friendly meals are provided. In some sessions, children may also participate in simple outdoor cooking activities, which they usually enjoy a lot. Please inform us in advance about food allergies or dietary restrictions. 6. What if my child has never stayed away from home? That’s completely normal. Many children attend their first camp experience with us. Our instructors are experienced in helping children settle in, make friends, and feel comfortable quickly. 7. How many instructors supervise the children? We maintain a good instructor-to-child ratio to ensure proper supervision and attention. Activities are always conducted in groups with instructors present. 8. What should my child bring to the camp? What happens in case of injury or illness? Our team is trained in first aid and emergency response. A basic medical kit is always available, and we have access to nearby medical facilities if required. Parents will be informed immediately if any issue arises. 12. How will I know my child is doing well during camp? We usually share updates, photos, or short reports with parents during or after the camp so you can see the experiences and activities your child is enjoying. 13. Our camp focuses on experiential learning through nature and adventure, helping children develop: Confidence Independence Resilience Practical life skills It’s not just entertainment — it’s real learning through adventure. 14. What if my child is shy or doesn’t know anyone? That’s very common. Camp activities are designed to encourage teamwork and bonding, and most children make friends very quickly. 15. What is the maximum group size? To ensure quality supervision and learning, we maintain limited group sizes, allowing instructors to give attention to each child. Why should my child attend a nature-based camp? Today’s children spend a lot of time indoors and on screens. A nature camp helps them: Build confidence Become more independent Improve social skills Develop resilience and problem-solving abilities Connect with nature Many parents tell us their children return more confident, responsible, and enthusiastic.

"We are very happy to send our son for the survival skill camp. Whole team is very cooperative and made it a very good experience for the kids. In this mundane city life where our kids are completely cut off from Mother Earth and adventure in nature this camp from wild survival academy brings the opportunity for us and kids to get reconnected with nature and survival skills required for exploring the Mother Earth. Once again big thanks to Col.Rajeev and whole team. Looking forward for more camps!!"

"It's very good experience for children to know little about wild life, my child narrated like a story to me and his grandparents, they were very happy by listening his words about waterbodies, adventure, rock climbing, preparing shelter.
We are very happy to be a part of today's programme, he made new friends.
Thank you so much for the team for explanation and practicals of wild life survival.
Thank you so much"
